My brother is a drummer and he doesn't need tabs or anything, he says it's so easy to hear what they are playing, i play bass though so my job is only to listen and find the right tunes :D, not that hard just practice it. Mostly because you can't trust tabs on the internet, people with no skills can put tabs out on the internet, so i would becareful about looking on tabs ;)

@Ignorance1234 lol i personally think its better to play by ear than to play by learning the tabs. cause if you learn it by ear, you connect with the song and have a idiosyncrasy. its better than spending hours memorizing every single note on a tab, cause thats just playing music mechanically. music should be played with soul, not just mechanically and technically. besides, jamming to a song many times with let you know the song more and let you figure out possible licks of your own.

@Ignorance1234 When you listen to a song, try to block out everything else but the drums, some good starter songs for you would be Crushcrushcrush-paramore, And a lot of three days grace is good stuff to start with aswell :D

I'd say being able to block out certain aspects of the songs is an acquired skill.. comes in time.. Some people just have it naturally.

@Ignorance1234 The best way to learn is to just listen to the song over and over until you've got it and also watching live versions helps a lot to see what they're doing, u can get tabs but i would personally try and learn without tabs :)
