It's blindside hits to the head which are now suspendable, not hits from the side. That hit was almost from behind and even if it wasn't from behind it was a boarding and a charging. Malkin should have gotten a supension but the NHL is fucking backwards. He had his head down, but contact was made shoulder to shoulder, and if you look at the tape, Mitchell takes maybe one stride out of the box. It's blindside hits to the head which are now suspendable, not hits from the side. Mitchell is known for his stick work, not big hits, and he is immensely important to any blue-line, and I don't think he's ever received a single suspension, so you're talking out of your ass calling him dirty.

Sometimes injuries happen from clean hits, but its like trying to injure a goalie by taking a slapshot. Nobody eases up on their shots to not hurt the goalie, but if a goalie got hurt only the most retarded people like you would try to claim the shooter meant to do it. A big hit is like a big shot, its hockey at its most intense, and at its best. A dirty hit is like slashing a goalie with your stick. Only a retard considers them the same.
