why can't you just enjoy the video for what it is - a video of a fun car that is the most popular sports car in the world, outlasting and outselling all others before it. I believe it's based on the Lotus Elan and not an MG but it has nothing to do with Europeans, American's Asians, etc. It's just a car that's fun to drive, and for many to tune to go faster, in much the same way that Carol Shelby took a British AC Ace and dropped a V8 into it to give it some grunt.

Obviously you don't know shit blackjack. If you want a balanced stable car for racing, then a Miata would probably be your last choice. A BMW would better suit. Miatas lack stability at 100+ speeds. They don't have enough downforce. Also, Miatas have a very bad drag coefficient. Sorry, but they just wen't designed for racing, they were designed for fun.

Oh and just in case you forgot, Miatas are based on the 1960s British MGs, a "white man's car" as a xenephobe like you would call it.

If I were to venture a guess, the reason why people put Ford V8s in Miatas is because its something you don't expect (i.e. a sleeper car) and its a very compatible swap. The original Miata was very underpowered (116 HP) and Mazda knew it. They intentionally left the engine bay large in case they're designers wanted to drop in a 6 cyl engine. Unfortunately, it never happened.
