  • what do you use to glue your pieces down inside the box?

  • @AtwaterMoon I use clear silicone, the stuff that comes in the caulking tubes at Home Depot.

  • It is always a treat watching your video's. You are one talented artist and I love all of the little trinkets you find for your projects. You should do a little video on your workshop and show us where all the magic takes place. LOL

  • @JWJNC Many thanks! I may do a video like that...maybe this summer, when I can spread out more easily on my back patio.

  • It's always a treat to see what you have been up to! Do you need to worry about the silicon drying out or does it hold up pretty well?

  • @CAP953 The silicon doesn't really "dry" ....it seems to "cure" and holds forever...it's good stuff once you learn to work with it!!

  • Love it! Thank you for taking the time to share with us. It is always fun to see what goodies you come across and how you pull them all together. I really like your work. :)

  • @vwilbeck Many thanks!!

  • Thanks so much for getting back to me. Looking forward to more tutorials, and seeing your art! Deb

  • Really enjoyed this video. Great piece! I was wondering, on your alcohol dye what ratio do you use? Thanks for another great tutorial! Deb

  • @TandeB4 Thanks, glad you like the video...I don't really have a standard ratio for mixing my alcohol dye. I generally just fill up a baby food jar with about half way with 90% alcohol, and then very slowly pour in some of the liquid Rit dye until I get the right color, testing it along the way with a brush and some paper, etc. Keep the lid closed on the baby food jar when not using.

  • Greg.. you never disappoint. LOVE you and your work!!! Your balance of each piece is perfect. Thank you for sharing, again.

  • @judysheart Thank you so much...getting that "balance" is tricky sometimes!

  • Awesome, as usual.

  • @lestudio76 Big thanks!!

  • I love your work you have an innate understanding of balance and beauty.

    Thanks for sharing

  • @GranmaPos Thanks...glad you enjoy!

  • Love your stuff! One small suggestion...instead of the silicon how about mirror hangers? It would just give you one more visual element and you wouldn't have to worry about spreading. Lovely, lovely work!!!

  • @leftatmars Thanks....yes, I've looked at the mirror hangers, and a number of other ways for attaching the glass, but I always seem to come back to the silicone especially now that I've learned how to use it properly.

  • I love them all as per usual...;)

  • @ppaisley As per many thanks!!!

  • That is so cool! Your work is amazing!

  • Such great finds and I really love the compositions. Great stuff as usual!

  • @iFlingPoo333 Hey there...thank you!!

  • Great to see new videos, Greg. I like these assemblages. Keep 'em coming.

  • @damncranky666 Thanks so much!!
