dude, its called superior and inferior vena cava etc.

cuz its at the top and bottom..

posterior and anterior means front and back. the words indicate the location of the artery. you use of words are improper.

@raincartman If you disagree with my use of these terms you might want to check out other sources, such as Encyclopedia Britannica online. Their explanation is as follows: In air-breathing vertebrates, including humans, either of two major trunks, the anterior and posterior venae cavae, that deliver oxygen-depleted blood to the right side of the heart. In humans these veins are respectively called the superior and inferior venae cavae.
