Sometimes I just randomly run until a new item which takes it away which pisses me off, which makes shit a lot harder. Whats worse is the fucking flying soldiers who shoot the lazers, drives me nuts! This game is unforgivable lmao!

Shredder wasn't hard to beat. I think I used the Turtles in the order of Raph, Michaelangeo, Donatello and then Leo. If I lost Raph, i rescued him, but after a few play throughs, I mastered the game. Donatello is good but i like Mike's range most.
I never ever reached that far, I used to lose all my turtles trying to destroy every single enemy that came my way, and it wasn't just TMNT that I used to do that. O ok, I agree. I didnt understand what you meant as I see this game as a part of the merchandising version of TMNT. The comics themselves only ever spawned RPGs (as in the book kind), tiny pewter figures (for the games apparently) and iron-ons for t-shirts. Recently much larger anniversary "statues" of some kind as well.
I agree, the comics were great, too bad some of the media couldnt have stayed completely true to that stuff. There really isnt anything like it.
The hallway with the jetpack guys is easily the hardest part of the game, hands down. I remember getting this far only to die and start over again. so gross.

Come On stop acting like babies this game isn't that difficult. When I first got it I beat it in a couple of weeks! Just study the patterns of the enemies.
I had finished the game too when I was 10-11, all by myself. This is why I found TMNT2 much easier and without any challenge. In the flying astronauts another trick is to duck and the laser shoots just above the character. But there is a chance that you might get hit and it is much harder to finish(depends on AI).
Another trick in beating Shredder is to stand on the platform and when he jumps you you just hit and he falls down and does the same pattern again
In the original comics he was a rat that was mutated. The movies and the modern cartoon followed that origin.
The '87 cartoon series which this game was mostly based on changed quite alot of things including making him a man that became rat like when he was exposed to mutagen.

O ok, I agree. I didnt understand what you meant as I see this game as a part of the merchandising version of TMNT. The comics themselves only ever spawned RPGs (as in the book kind), tiny pewter figures (for the games apparently) and iron-ons for t-shirts. Recently much larger anniversary "statues" of some kind as well.
I agree, the comics were great, too bad some of the media couldnt have stayed completely true to that stuff. There really isnt anything like it.

one big change is this is based on the cartoon where splinter used to be human. In the comics, he used to be a rat, mutated into half rat half human.

The hallway with the jetpack guys is easily the hardest part of the game, hands down. I remember getting this far only to die and start over again. so gross.

I got this game when I was 5 and I could never beat it because now I know I went the wrong way where there is a spiky death trap.... fucking hey hahaha... I found this game the hardest ever but I was going the impossible way lol... what an idiot. I love this game.

I had finished the game too when I was 10-11, all by myself. This is why I found TMNT2 much easier and without any challenge. In the flying astronauts another trick is to duck and the laser shoots just above the character. But there is a chance that you might get hit and it is much harder to finish(depends on AI).
Another trick in beating Shredder is to stand on the platform and when he jumps you you just hit and he falls down and does the same pattern again

In the original comics he was a rat that was mutated. The movies and the modern cartoon followed that origin.
The '87 cartoon series which this game was mostly based on changed quite alot of things including making him a man that became rat like when he was exposed to mutagen.
