  • Team... this can't be an RV... unless you can find any hint of a propeller out there! This is either a jet or (much more likely) an EZ of some type (Varieze, Longeze, Cozy, Velocity, etc.)

  • Hmm..not really. They're both single engine aircraft, but that's about where the comparison ends. RVs are homebuilt and Cessnas are production aircraft. Cessna 172 cruises at ~110kts, RV-4 at about ~174kts. The RV-4 is fully aerobatic too and is way more manuverable. Go to vansaircraft dot com and check out the various RV models. I built and fly an RV-7A.

  • I've seen this video before, but it's always nice to see it again. Great pilot. Does look like an RV-4. If anyone thinks this kind of flying is easy, just try it.

    Never did see trees ..just open water to NAS.

    Even easier to NSB when I hooked her wheels.

    Ultra lites are great....but they can only carry a baby and a biscuit and bacon.

  • These are currently the most popular aircraft(the whole RV line)in the world and they are home-builts. The are fully airbatic, fast, and beautiful airplanes. You can get all the 411 at vans aircraft.
