She never drove it in the winter hence no rust. Then like two years ago stopped driving. My daughter used it to go to college for one year then I parked it.
I have many receipts to back up the mileage claim.
i got one of those to mine is also a 78 buick skylark has the 3.8 V6 i will ad the dual outlet flowmaster 80's muffler and it should sound really great not like a rice rocket may not sound like a V8 but it will be close have exhaust tips with the same internal holes like the glass packs use
I have a eccellent 78 with 72,000 original miles I just rebuilt the carbuerator because I founf it in abarn where it sat for 15 years but has been registered since I will sell mine right or trade it,,1of 800 with the factory sunroof 2dr Landauif you know of anyone interested Iwill take 1000 or trade?
excellent for north Jersey. Good rod material....1st thing I'd do is get rid of the guido appointments: landau roof, trim, +lose the white vinyl buckets- these cars were built to customize! Dual exhaust would be waykool
WoW nice,..did you know GM was manufacturing this car (4 door) in Iran till mid 1980s? Since there are many cars like this in Iran you can get ALL parts there pretty chip (see Wikipedia for more info). Its an excellent car,.. Still I have NEVER seem a car with such a C@@L soft hydrolic Steering Wheel,..
my skylark still has all of its bumper plastic. What saved it from not disappearing I wonder. I paid 500 for mine. 3.8 V6 with 52,000 miles on it but its a 4 door. Also, that door buzzer is a plug in cartridge so, it may have just fallen out.
The only reason I wouldn't buy this car is because I already have one, but seriously for anyone who's the least bit interested should go for it. I love mine to death!!! It's a very reliable car and it hasa sturdiness that you just can't find in cars today. Plus $2,500 is a steal!
I had one of these cars back in the early 90's very dependable good on gas rode like effin crap and had that friggin guttless
231v6 oh yaa i forgot it rusted all to hell to!

Does this Buick have the buzzer intact or did you cut the buzzer wires?
Jac2Mac 4 years ago
Hello: To my knowledge no wires have been cut.
But there is no door buzzer if that's what you are asking.
It's for sale in Bergen County NJ.
I'm looking for $2,500 ish.
Thanks for your question.
