I thought this would help the flow of traffic on my urban interstate. I had the room, so I went ahead and built this. It turned into a bigger project to divert my traffic around this. I managed to divert my traffic carefully, but after extensive work on this I reopened my interstate. The traffic flow did not go according to plan. I have more wrecks Alone here then I do anywhere else in my city. So now I have to come up with a new way for my traffic to chug interstates without crashing.
Dude ur tutorials helped a lot , but , got waay to many questions to ask em here in comments , so if u dont feel like doing anything important enough as giving some advices to me , feel free to do , I could really use ur help and advices :)
@QCIC56 It's an addon from the STEX. I have no idea which though >.> Someone has asked the same question in another one of my videos, and someone had the answer though.
(cacks on simtropolis) - guess what variant of this will be appearing on what thread soon! Great work! and all in 5 min! This would also be appearing in my failed CJ if i ever revive it...
Nice job! I don't see why you couldn't just use the on-slope RHW pieces since you already raised the ground. Just use the slope mod to raise and lower the elevation and then you could connect your ramps without any slope at all.
I could have done, but I wanted to show this method of bridge making. It's especially good when space is at a premium because you can run MIS right next to the highway's mainline.

What keeps me annoyed is he builds something then he destroys it.
louisekaille 10 months ago
@louisekaille There's an awful lot of building and demolition involved in RHW interchanges - especially if you're experimenting.

@Asteconn
Oh I get it. You build a piece of road because you level the terrain? Am I right?
louisekaille 10 months ago
@louisekaille That's the case most of the time yes. Sometimes I make mistakes though that need deleting =

reminds me of tdu2's off and off ramps in that euro island

The nifty trick doesn't work for me T.T~ It just flattens the whole thing down and doesn't make a neat bridge
bahamut285 1 year ago
@bahamut285
Odd. Do you have something (like single street tiles) at the one side to pull the ramp down?
Asteconn 1 year ago
@Asteconn Nope. I even tried doing it on some random land just to see if it was the traffic circle messing with it, but it still flattens. :(

@Anc0raz You should revive it solely for this (y) lol
Asteconn 1 year ago
@Asteconn I know i really should shouldn't I? Thanks for that 'nifty trick' (1:46), I didn't know it before, so I'm now using it in my cities.
I'll continue my CJ, but only in video form (maybe).
Anc0raz 1 year ago
2:25 why dont you just use the tiles for edges?
Dominik520520 2 years ago
@Dominik520520 Wanted to show everyone different ways of making the overpass. I'll probably put them all into 1 video showing the various methods

Just what I need for my UK Cities. You have done it again Asteconn!
