Newbury Springs is not the original Bagdad. You have to go couple of miles east. But there is nothing there but foundations of building that used to be there. When route 66 open someone put up a gas station. A town began to grow but it was in the desert and isolated. It was abondoned when Hiway 40 opened. Nothing but foundations now.

Ahhh, great stuff i have no idea what he's smoking but he is an unusual motherfucker! I used to get high and sometimes watch his show in San Diego just for Huell's complete aloofness of reality.
