How much drift does this radio really have? I've read originally no drift, but some of you say it does drift on sideband?

Really now I'm ready for a radio that is a loud talker yet doesn't drift on sideband

cbradiomag, how is this radio on SSB?? I work 99% SSB so I don't want any drifting.. My RCI-2950 never drifts.. GREAT radio.. I like this 45 for all the nice feature's.. My thing is making sure the SSB don't drift.. Could you let me know how it is on ssb? Thanks

@radioguy67 -These radios do have some drift but I would rate them better than many of the other SSB exports currently on the market. In my opinion the 2950DX does have better overall SSB stability and if that was the only factor I would take the 2950DX. Although to put it in perspective I recently tested a stock 2970N2 that had drift problems after 15 mins of talking and the heat became an issue.

If SSB stability is really your thing you might look at moving to a HF Ham radio.

@shaneo1482 Yes only blue, you can dim it down but only blue this year.

The old one was orange/yellow ish so far its a good radio.
