Not saying the G3 wasn't a decent machine, it was. But at the time you could get a gateway that was just as good (rare for a gateway) for about $300 less. I actually knew 15-20 people that bought the G3 just because of the commercial.

I hope the add people got stock, because they saved Apple's ass.

The older iMac G3s from the 90s had tray-loading drives and the ones after 2000 or so had slot-loading drives.

The problem with CRT (non-flat) screens is that they are bad on your eyes. LCDs and Plasma's aren't.

I really liked the White Intel design of the iMacs more than the aluminum, and I even liked the G4's because they could rotate in all directions, but yea the new 27" iMacs are killer.

No I just hate the white look on the iMac (no offense FlipSk8er3104).

They have the G3s at some schools that I know of still.

no because the emacs looked the same the whole time so it would be a waste of time what you could do you have old Apple keynotes you can upload some of Apples best product introductions and i like the white g3 imacs snow.

Yeah good idea. After I replied to your last comment, I looked at MacTracker for info on the eMacs and they only had a G4 that they made slightly better each year or so.

I do have some Apple ads and Keynotes but nothing about the iMac G3 Snow. I'll find and upload a commercial and since you made the recommendation, your name/link will be in the description.
