I think this is the most real documentary that touches me. Perhaps because I kind of know you. All we can do in the other states is encourage donations. It is amazing how fast Queenslanders get it together to reconstruct. Newcastle was similar after the Earthquake. People just get it together to help. Sorry this happened. I live on the Gulf Coast and we had similar flooding because of hurricane Ivan in 2004. I got off lucky but I know it sucks balls. I hope for a swift recovery.

We live so far north that the houses are heavily insulated, it suck up a lot of water.

and you can´t dry it out before fungus starts to grow in the walls.

Nothing else to do than tear down the house, and build a new one.
