@dilliontube1 the reason for 24GB of RAM is because the system is built for video editing. I do HD editing and have to hot switch back and forth between premiere and after effects and Photoshop with large projects and large source files. All of these programs eat up a ton of RAM. Also more RAM means longer RAM previews in AE. So to say nobody can benefit from 24GB of RAM is ignorant.
The monitors are Asus 27" monitors I bought from New Egg. They aren't top of the line or anything and don't
@holdenhq75 looks like the 27 in asus could be with led back lighting , or the version with out led .. not sure tho, maybe if this guy could peal him self away from some dumb flight sim , he could answer ur question ...

FSX only uses 1 processor I have a similar configuration, an Intel i7 980X hexacore one ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 and 3 monitors 12Gb in ram and performs exactly as this great config Mr mtiffee has.
If you want FSX to perform as you see in this video you have to have an i7 980X Hexacore.
I LOVE how smooth your frame rates are! What speed is your 980x running? Which MB? How many of the 6 cores is FSX using? How much of the 24Gb of ram is FSX using? Do you think 24 gigs is helping more than 12 gigs of ram? Brand model of ram, MB, SSD? Any additional hardware info would GREATLY be appreciated. Rather than Matrox, I plan on doing the same with the 3 screen nVidia 3D setup. I Subscribed! Thanks in advance!
@DoogieWDTV u think this is good fps .? u dont see the jumping of the scenery ..?? i wouldn't put it in to the 30 fps bracket .. at best 25~ fps .. give or take one or two. again since this guy cant answer .. 24 gbs of ram is just dumb.... no , i mean no program will use that .. 12 will hold the fort for another few years , any x58 mobo is good , asus and evga are the best . ssd , good , but just for os , ocz vertex are great , i own 2, if u want advice for surround sound gaming visit my site
