i know, marleau may not have been that good in the playoffs, but he is the best player they have after Thornton, he just had a great year, they should just take the C off him.

Idk about that, Thornton had back to back 90 assist seasons, and has led the Sharks through everything since he first went there. Marleau is great, but I dont think hes better than Joe.

He should keep the C. He leads by example and does a great way of showing it. This video as a prime example. He doesnt give up on the play and he prevents a goal against his team.

Just because you wear a "C", doesnt mean you should have to feel pressured to perform. It just so happens he makes 6 million a season and has to live up to that. In my opinion.. hes doing just fine scoring 38 goals.
