Can you run most windows program on ReactOS? Like possibly Microsoft Office, java, Thunderbird, Aim, Gimp, that kind of stuff? Or do you (and can you) use Wine for that?
i think it's good :) it has free remote desktop (works fine) so in office where terminal serwers you can use it :) also you will have browser (opera for egz.) freecell and else. RDP licence is cheaper then licence of microsoft windows 7.
@bcbjibou cred ca mai este unul in afara de mine... cred ... dar eu mi-am pierdut interesul de cand am vazut ce fel evolueaza proiectul... adica dezvoltatorii mai degraba fac jocuri si programe inutile pt sistemul de operare decat sa ii regleze stabilitatea... ca de altfel ReactOS nu rezista mai mult de 1 ora dupa ce ai deschis primul program in el si face crash

@NicksLocker Not yet. Some of them (the less complex programs) work, but it is still very unstable.

What is the point? There is too much propitiatory stuff in windows that you can't just reverse engineer without a lot problems - legal and technical.
Directx, Net Framework, ect.

@ZeroX1803 They used a virtual machine to capture ReactOS, which is why it appears slow.
