wow i didnt now the cemetary got hit that bad i was out in the country side of markdale at a friends and all she got was a power outage lucky us :) but when i got home my street was destoyed (george st.) but i have moved to england now :( been here for almost a year now :( miss everyone :(
Markdale is a great community, I am sure that the clean up will be assisted by friends neibours and the many county trucks we saw driving around. Best of luck to anyone who was affected. The thoughts of the GB community are with you all.
My parents live in Markdale one street away from the affected area on George street, what a mess. Their hydro was off until 11 am today, trees uprooted, houses damaged but repairable. My parents house didn't even lose a shingle but their neighbours 4 doors down lost most of their trees. Thanks for posting the cemetary video, they wouldn't let anyone in it today, had it taped off.
Supposedly a BBQ that took three guys to lift up onto a deck was 20 ft in the air when the storm came through. Afterwords he found his nieghbours truck bumper in his living room.
