  • who's the singer?

  • This is really cool man - keeping the music live...

Thanks for posting - really enjoyed it

  • Beautiful. No wonder Elvis Presley said Jerry Scheff was the best of his live concert bass players between Emory Gordy Jr in mid-late '73,Duke Bardwell '74-early '75.

  • a lot of bass players play it wrong. thanks to scheff to remind them

  • Shitty cameraman, zooms out exactly when he's playing the riff everyone wants to see. Otherwise, perfect.

  • great voice!

  • @ChicagoKid1969 Not looking at his size, I like his voice...and to just be on the stage with Jerry Scheff, you have to be good.

  • His son Jason has done great with Chicago all these years

  • trop la classe Jerry!!

    mille merci au post

  • That was a magical show!!!

Jerry used one of the five SVTs, the other four were used by Joe Osborne, Duck Dunn, Bob Glaub and Daryl Jones!

The backing band was Tributosaurus a Chicago based cover band who assembles in various forms each month to perform as a famous band. Matt the singer has since moved to LA where I believe he does the same thing out there.

For bassists, the guy kissing Jerry's hand at the beginning of this video is Steve "Dude" Barr of Vintage Bass Trading Company.

  • Very good Music !

The Stage gets a blast... 5 Ampeg Stacks + a fat Singer..... thats a huge weight !

  • In my opinion one off the best bassplayers i've heard. Nice bass 2 that lakland.

  • .thank you sharing with us. your dad a amazing bass player.

  • sounds wondreful.

  • I would love to meet Jerry someday!!
