Apparently none of you know what you are talking about. The gibbus is a solitary, aggressive piranha and that tank is perfectly fine in size. Also they need minimal plants because they prefer open waters! Nice fish man.
i agree, a gibbus is to rare and expensive to be feeding him parasite infested feeders. fish fillets, silversides, shrimp, krill, earthworms, and so on would be a better alternative. but if you just got the fish to watch it kill feeders so be it
kevinandlezleigh I have a Gold Diamond Piranha that only eats live food so I feed him Rosey Reds...he won't even eat shrimp, or beefheart..but I havn't tried earthworms yet.
