Just seen some guys planning where to put Tsunami warning signs in Pierpont . If it was high tide the lanes would have been flooded. This happend at low tide.

same thing happened in channel islands harbor. when the water rushed out it started snapping dock lines. nothing damaged though

Thats amazing! Thanks for posting. I used to live in that marina, and was more than a little concerned when I heard on the news that ventura harbor suffered tsunami surge damage. Were any boats damaged?

Thanks for posting this. We were out on the water sailing the PBYC race. Actual wave rolled by us at about 12:45. One very large all alone rogue

I'm not going to lie.
I questioned the soundness of your decision to be on this dock while this was coming in. Considering how really bad they are at predicting how these things are going to go. (Hawaii's under-whelming wave comes to mind)
But, I have to say, I'm really glad you did it! Amazing footage of what these things are actually like. Someone said these shouldn't be called waves at all. But, surges instead. Your video makes that point. Amazing power!! but not a wave.
