Torchwood: Children of Earth 2 minute trailer

I've watched every Torchwood Episode in existence, let me sum it up for you.

Season 1: Average with a few good episodes like Country-cide, They keep killing Julia and the one with the fairies. Other episodes are good, like the the one with the kid trying to sell an alien eye and the one where a plane flies through time and Owen snogs the pilot but they lack action so most people will hate them.

Season 2: Fuck season 2, it starts off with Spike from Buffy acting like a ridiculous angry gay tool

Series 1 was awful. Series 2 was not perfect, but an improvement. So far Miracle Day is fantastic, but Children of Earth was the absolute height of Torchwood's storytelling. 5 episodes of intense brilliance.

I just watched this season over the last couple of days. I watched Season 1 and God it sucked. Skipped Season 2 because I heard it was more of the same. Watched this because they said it was better. I'm glad they took out the gratuitous sex and the most obnoxious characters, it was maturely handled. But it was the stuff of nightmares, man. At least now I know why Jack was in that all-species club looking forlorn when the Doctor hooked him up with Alonzo.

Not a TW fan. I tried, I really did.

@aperson22222 the first season wasnt all bad but most of it was. You shouldnt hav skipped season 2 because its actually good and its much better than season 1. O and children of earth is great so u didnt try because u didnt see season 2.

Torchwood is unique. There is no show like this anywhere. RTD created an amazing franchise . Can't wait for Miracle day!

actually an air date has not been officially released, but we know that it will air between 4th July - 10th July

Precisely. And seeing as though the 4th is a Saturday and 10th is a Friday and we know it is starting on a Monday, we can be 99.9% sure that it is starting on the 6th, as that is a Monday.

yes but, hotel babylon is still scheduled to air on the friday at 9 so that may mean that torchwood will air on sunday and finish on the thursday

Been a Doctor Who fan for over 30 years. Series One Torchwood? Left me a little embarrassed in parts, but watched it regardless. Series Two? Pretty consistently great. This "third series"/mini-series, if the trailer holds true? Looks absolutely *incredible*. Roll on, July.

many people hoped that it would start broadcasting from 15th june, but the bbc have posted their programme information for that week with no sign of torchwood there, so it should air sometime in july instead
