I really love this movie, and I would love it even more if someone would please put this on youtube...it's a great movie and I remember watching it years ago for the first time and haven't forgotten about it!!! Saw this movie twice on CMT and loved it. Never liked George or country music till now when I saw him and how talented he was in it. Said on there that he was filming Pure Country Gift and that he was going to be in it but in what capacity they did not say. He is good looking and talented and can act very well and thought he did a fantastic job in Pure Country. Thanks for posting this trailer here on YouTube.

I saw this for the first time in South Carolina...coming from the Northeast, it seems pretty "country" to us there. Incredible movie. Well, with George, how could it not be?

I was lucky enough to be in the sequel. I mouthed the words "I love you" to George as we passed and held my hands in the shape of a heart. He touched my shoulder and smiled and then i was unable to look him in the eyes the rest of the day.....but you could NOT wipe the smile off my face!!! He has a body guard that mean mugged me the whole time too. yikes!!

@TurninNBurnin101 A YouTube friend told me they got it off e-bay. I got it long time ago and i got it at HMV ( cd store ) . Someone also told me go to the offical site of Warner Brothers and you can order it there. Its a classic movie. Thanks for watching.

ok...I just watched the trailer for the 1st time and there is a scene in there that is not in the movie. They are dancing and she says...I was just wondering....what are you running from. WHY wasn't that left in the movie

This is what I know. There will be a sequel, but it isn't really a sequel, George only has a small cameo. As far as the one with Joe Nichols....they are doing a broadway play of the original and he will play the part of...not Dusty....but Rusty RME. I'm sure that George isnt doing it because he doesn't want to do broadway. I also read that he did lobby to change his character name from Bubba (to Dusty) because he felt that was a stereotype of southerns. wish he would do another movie though

Interesting fact: George didn't really care for the title of the movie and lobbied to have the title changed, but it never happened. Personally, I think "Where the Sidewalk Ends" may have been a better title for the movie. Either way, I still love this movie and George is still, and always will be, the king.

Amazing how things change so fast. The headlines are reading that Strait will star in the film, yet Cain states that it WON"T be a sequel? If its not a sequel to the first film, will it be able to capture the same magic? Can lightning strike twice?

This is my favorite movie of all time. I grew up with George's music in my house and I'm proudly from Texas like he is. This movie was filmed near Fort Worth, Texas, my home away from home.
