  • Simply the greatest 20th century band of all time.

    See Mozart, circa...

Please, let us not go fucking stupid...okay?

  • I'd be willing to bet that the electric piano part is being played by "fifth Beatle" (and Texan) BILLY PRESTON

  • I'm # 1

  • Obama will do the same if necessary

  • today's hippies better realize that chairman Mao starved at least 70 milion of his own people

  • Yeh Lennon' s wishy washy like a politician is that a surprise?

  • That has to be one of their best performances. Lennon's aggressivness and McCartney's enthusiasm are on show.

  • I played this song for the lefties at the local Occupy rally. They started singing along. I don't think they got the joke.

  • @JoshManYT lennon would love the occupy movement and hed probably be on the streets with them

  • @MrMojoRisin53 I tend to doubt that.

    You know, because he's British.

  • @JoshManYT so are the stones and the who and pink floyd and eric clapton and led zeppelin

  • @MrMojoRisin53 Thank you for that little who's-who of British rock and roll artists.

  • I question if this is actually pure live audio. I feel it may have been amplified and or mixed with the nearly live sounding studio version. Thoughts from non-haters?

  • @RBTAK71 they wouldnt have done that..you can hear the mics feeding back..you can definitely tell john is singing the verse and pauls background vocals dont match up with the studio version of this song..geroge is always flawless on guitar and ringo is definitely playing the drums..its all authentic theyre just that good

  • @MrMojoRisin53 And what about the piano on the solo? Who is playing? A hiden musician? And the guitars are absolutely the same of the studio version (specially the solo that is the most difficult part to reproduce absolutely the same live). I guess they are using some tricks.

  • @rbazzarella ya ill concede the piano is not authentic, but to say george's solo is not simply because its too hard is naive..this is on of the greatest guitarists the world has ever seen..if he played it once, he can play it 1000 times

  • @rbazzarella but the vocals ... and the quality of the song shows that is live ... and the piano thing it can have a piano there and george martin is playing ...

  • How can anyone dislike the Beatles? It seems utterly irrational.

  • The Beatles. Whether or a fan or not, you have respect and admire what John, Paul, George, and Ringo did. From Love Me Do to The End, no band or artist has had a bigger impact on music and culture than the Beatles. And although they broke up in 1970 and we lost John (1980) and George (2001), their music and it's spirit lives on.

  • No hate and I respect the beatles but is so slow and boring for me .

  • @HazelSparks Good songs are not measured by their speed...

  • @Del87beatle Ok not allways , but thats my opinion . to boring for me . and like I said before I dont hate them I respect them but im not a fan I know that the beatles are the reason why there so many great bands like metallica , pantera A7X falling in reverse . etc..

  • @HazelSparks ..you probably shouldn't put falling in reverse and the word "great" in the same sentence.

    makes you look foolish.

  • @vaginatarian4life Why not??

  • @HazelSparks every band has slow songs, this is just a sped up version of the orginial revolution 1..you cant say the beatles are boring..go listen to helter skelter or yer blues or sgt.pepper..and metallica wouldve slapped you if you said the beatles were boring..like i said..helter skelter..first metal song ever..3 of the top 5 greatest song writers in 1 band, GOAT

  • Do he say: "Don't you know you can count me out...in..."

It almost seemed like he did.

  • @totustuusmaria thats the lyric..he couldnt decide when he wrote the song if he wanted to join radical revolutionists or not..he respected them for wanting revolution but disagreed with their methods

  • @totustuusmaria

Lennon switched the lyrics around on the different versions - adding "out" and sometimes "in"; in an interview he was asked about the differences and he said sometimes he felt like he wanted out and other times in, a "yin yang" thing

  • the beatles, they are strange

  • @c0nker001 no u

  • I've watched it in, out, upside arse side down. That's a live performance. My belief is severely shaken at 0:53 seconds. Pauls mouth does not move as you hear "Don't you know it's gonna be."

I have to put this down to a sync thing, as there are too many other key points where it's all in synch.

I'm no expert, but for me it's a real live preformance.

  • One of my favorite songs!! We need a new revolution for 2012!!!

  • This is fuckin music kids!!

  • @AdamCKY123 yeah right..this can't compare to Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, or any of the modern stuff

  • haha johns face at 2:03 xD

  • @jockeand1

    There's nothing in 2:03

  • @deyran yes or between 2:03 and 2:04 john makes a funny face when the camera is switching between Paul and John :p

  • I Luv! This song! its Amaazing!

  • For me, Harrison will allways be the best

  • @Droamen I don't know... I can see liking him the best, he's awesome, but as far as songwriting goes I don't think he's on their level. Lennon and McCartney would both look pretty dang good if they only had their 2 best songs on each album. And I suspect Harrison would have had to resort to cover songs if he had to contribute 6 or 7 songs once or twice a year, he was never prolific. Something, Taxman, and Here Comes the Sun were great, but I'm a McCartney guy.

  • Out... IN

  • 142 people .. don't love to change the world

  • some of the most awkward camera work hahaha

  • la rivoluzione è un'atto d'amore

    R[LOVE]UTION

  • god john is high off his ass. the rest of them probably are too but DAMN

  • Legends.

  • @princessbamba Icons

  • @JerichoDitch2 And legends of rock

  • 3:10 (but at EXACTLY 3:15) looks at the face of John, WTF?

  • 1:08 Ringo's eyes lol

  • love the fuzzy guitar sound!

  • Oh help.....viewers bashing each other as comments to THIS song???? I think we have a serious problem of understanding a certain message in these lyrics...people, come on, stop it like the responsible human beings we are in fact..

  • best part 0:00 - 3:26

  • @martinrodrix excelent BEATLEMANIAC :)♥

  • @kikio43 :) Happy new year XDXDXDXD jjajjajjaajaj :) BEATLEMANIAC.... yeahhhhh

  • @martinrodrix happy new year my friend :) BEATLES 4EVER ♥

  • This is about as live as my dead hamster. Lip-syncing...uggh...the Beatles hated doing this after so many times and used to mock the process...please don't call this "live".

  • @BlueSpawnRecords I think that the voices are the most realistic part of the song because they aren't the same as the recording and you can actually see them saying the words, but other than that I heard the piano solo perfectly note for note and NO ONE WAS EVEN THERE PLAYING IT!!

  • ok children this is the internet. we'll keep the bashing to the outside world.

  • nice song

  • 142 people aren't going to make it with anyone anyhow.

  • To the 142 people who disliked: It's gonna be alright.

  • get a kick outta Paul missing his cues....a delight an absolute delight!:)

  • love you the beatles

  • 11111 likes, with my like will be 11112 :(

  • @s0l0musica spoiler (jk)

  • what year?

  • @dantheman52420 The beatles came first you idiot, in fact they came about 50 years before him

  • Comment removed

  • The Beatles went from "Love me do" to "I am the walrus" to this in little over five years, so if you're gonna use a word to describe the music of the Fab Four "repetitive" wouldn't be it.

  • Comment removed

  • I used to support revolution, then I took an arrow to the knee...

  • .... better change your mind instead... ;)

  • I think we need another music revolution. That's what the Beatles started and look what happened.

  • @day500champ08 Justin Beiber...

  • @tenfed1861 I said "music" revolution. That would require music.

  • @day500champ08 My point exactly. This crap today is nothing more than noise.

  • Paul <3<3<3<3

  • This should have been the theme song for the Occupy Wall Street movement

  • hot scream, paulie

  • John later advocated revolution in Power To The People.

  • The friend of jhon.. the one who told him it was the evolution.. was right... maybe his friend was a little "radical" in his methods, but is up to us... citizens with no billions of dollars.. to destroy the decadent liberal democracy that serves only to the purposes of the billionares (aka bpurgeoisie) read man.. books dont bite.. and read the forbidden books...

  • @sicoticosandro not forbidden, banned.

  • DHani looks just like dad even more so in this video poor George they kind of pushed him aside,,I watched the HBO special and John didn't even know there were 6 strings to a guitar until George told him he said what's that mate,4 strings lol funny!

  • Una bola de grifos, viciosos ....son el himno de vivan las drogas........ los precursores de libertad confundida con las drogas

  • any one know what kind of mic's these are ??

  • VIVA LA OCCUPY REVOLUTION

  • We'd All Love To Change The World - I think they accomplished that :)

  • les beatles toujours n° 1

  • i love this video :)

  • This video is SO beautiful!

  • Hollywood Alive by Adam Hartmann is better than the Beatles

  • AWWWWW Ringos singing too!!! XD

  • 1:10 ba be shoobe-do-ba, ba be shoobe-do-ba

  • Tú dices Pitbull yo digo AEROSMITH

Tú dices Hannah Montana, yo digo AC\DC

Tú dices Jonas Brothers, yo digo THE ROLLING STONES

Tú dices black eyed peas yo digo THE BEATLES

Tú dices Justin Bieber yo digo ElVIS PRESLEY

  • This is so OBVIOUSLY not live. Any musician can tell that they are NOT playing the parts you are hearing. I hate shit like this.

  • @vaperjeff its partly live with a backing track

  • @matchbox555 "Partly live with a backing track" is NOT live.

  • @vaperjeff it is live, they just have a backing track to provide the extra uumpf

you can hear pauls live scream

you can hear the live guitars

you can hear the live shooby doo wah

and you can hear ringos drums

and you can hear lennons live singing

so quit yer belly achin !

  • Comment removed

  • @matchbox555 Nope. It's not live. The vocals are live, yes, but they are OBVIOUSLY not playing the instruments live. The guitars, bass and drums are NOT live and anyone with functioning ears and eyes can tell that. I am a musician. I know when people are playing the parts you hear just by looking. They are doing the instrumental equivalent of lip-synching. The backing track is simply an alternate, sloppier studio take. Trust me on this one. Singing over canned backing tracks IS NOT LIVE.

  • @vaperjeff bullshit i can see ringo whacking the drums

  • @matchbox555 AND????? That's what you DO when you are faking it over backing tracks. Yes...Ringo is whacking the drums. That means absolutely nothing. What is it about this that you are not getting? Are you really that naive? ENOUGH ALREADY! IT"S NOT LIVE. GET OVER IT. He's hitting the drums, but the drum mics are not on and not being amplified to the audience. Didn't you ever watch the Monkees on TV? They also weren't playing live...but they tried to make it look like they were. THAT'S TV.

  • @vaperjeff I hate shit like you! =D

  • @iHateDickHeadsLikeYo Do you really think I give a fuc* what some random stranger things of me? Son, please go back to pimping out your mother and stop imaging that anyone cares what you have to say.

  • @vaperjeff Who said anyone, especially me, cares what you have to say? See, no one does! So shut up! =D

  • @iHateDickHeadsLikeYo I didn't see where the vote was taken that says that you speak for the entire world, jackass. I don't give a flying fuc* what you think of me, dimwit. Now OBVIOUSLY based on your screen name you are nothing but an ignorant, teenage troll. Now, as I said before... go back to pimping out your mother and stop imaging that anyone cares what you have to say.

  • @vaperjeff haha, well, it took you long enough to see im trolling... But I only troll on people who are being rude and arrogant to other people who are innocent... Coz the way you are acting, in my humble opinion, you seem like an angry nerd who was brought up in an extremely rich home and got everything you wanted! But I know that you dont care what I say, so therefor, I can say whatever I want! haha, dont feed the trolls, or they will just keep on comin...Sucker. =P

  • @iHateDickHeadsLikeYo No, son. You were an obvious troll from the beginning. And you're also completely wrong. I am not angry. I am not a nerd. And my dad was a cop in NYC, so no, troll...I did not grow up in a rich home. Lower middle class at best. Everything I ever got I had to work hard for. Again...you don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about. As for you being a troll. Everyone knows that trolls are the saddest, loneliest people on the internet. Get a life, son. Get a life.

  • Those who advocate for revolution... maybe try listening to the lyrics?

  • @JeremyWBlueDuck37 in the first concert in which this song was exposed he sang "you can count me out (pause) IN"

  • Cm on people, we need a revolution right fucking now! the world is falling to pieces, from economic crisis to global warming; in a phew years nothing will remain, and the next lifeform will find rests of our society and ask themselfes how we could have been ths stupid!

It's time to change, don't let those white collared 1% of the world ruin it for all of us! Sickness, poverty, inequality, debt, violence, wars, ENOUGH! let's bring the spirit of the sixties back today! but better! whos with me?

  • @MegaPanzers1 Ron Paul Revolution! Ron Paul, "The Prophet".

  • @zobizobe fuck yeah man! i'm not american but i would totally vote for a man that prepared, intelligent and humble if he were in my country! RON PAUL 2012 :)

  • @zobizobe goddamn you people need to get a life.

  • @MegaPanzers1 you have co-dependency problems you kind sir. why reject capitalism?

  • @roskey697 .... there are millions reasons, but see not even one of the current goverment typologies, (as in comunism, capitalism, socialism etc..) is fit to rule a world so expanded as ours. We need a goverment founded on the ideals of peace, free speech, and liberty. Why is man so blind as not to see the giant iceberg of war that is right in fron of him;and if he won't dodge it in time,it's going to sink us all,the war is over if you want it,bring peace, through a peaceful revolution

  • @MegaPanzers1 and you expect to create a government that enforces this collectived peace socialization ideal on a planet with something like 6 billion people on it over a youtube post? get your fat ass off of the computer and revolutionize yourself. fuck man. im seventeen years old, working, providing for myself, studying philosophy independently and earning college credit while im still in high school. i am not rich by any means. this is 2012, i am living and self reliant. fuck socialism

  • @roskey697 great post, man

  • @thamnosma for sure, thanks. it's surprising how pathetic people can be, especially on the internet.

  • @roskey697 think you're cool? i revolutionize myself everyday,i play the piano and guitar (both self thought),i compose music,i work in clean up activities in various green areas of the city;i write, both short stories,a book, and poems.I read, having a vast knowledge of literature, both italian and english.I speak 3 languages, i have great knowledge of music, from Mozart, to Listz, Beethoven and Debussy. i'm quite fit, and yes, we are 7* billion, and a comment or a quote can change many

  • @MegaPanzers1 now you're just being pretentious. i wasn't trying to flaunt anything, this is not a chest puffing contest. altruistic ideals destroy society, because it erases individuality. i dont know how old you are, or what sex you are, but its a bummer that your stuck.

  • @MegaPanzers1 did you listen to the lyrics?

  • @sausagemanlorne23 what i mean is a peacefull revolution, a giant protest and march, just peacefull thoughts, and a common desire to change things around us. john did it too in the seventies with the march for peace and the movements against vietnam war.

  • @MegaPanzers1 Fair enough, I can see where you're coming from there.

  • @MegaPanzers1 well there two problems discrimination and drugs ALOT of drugs

  • paul should've just stayed away from john's songs. the 'shoo-bee-doo-up' part wouldve been pauls idea and it sucked. always hated that john's songs were always the b-sides.

  • Comment removed

  • I bet they wished they didn't stop touring after that!!

  • @Bassbooster14 First of all it's not live. Any musician can tell that they are not playing the parts you are hearing. George never plays the solo. Secondly they stopped touring LONG before this video was made. The audience is canned as well.

  • @vaperjeff Why the squeals of feedback if it's not live? The singing is most definitely live, and to my ears it sounds live, as in live in a studio (it was part of the David Frost show). George never plays the solo? Eh? Anyway, it sounds amazing, live or not, that's all that matters. Just enjoy it, that's the point I guess...

  • @cottageorgan The squeals of feedback don't have anything to do with it being live. It's an alternate take to which they are pretending to play. The vocals may be live. but that's about it. And yes, George OBVIOUSLY isn't playing the solo. The point is that you are all morons who think this is a live performance.

  • @vaperjeff The point is 1. It's The Beatles 2. It's music 3. It's not worth wetting your knickers over!! Just enjoy it, and if all you can stoop to is handing out insults, take it somewhere else, your spoiling the party...Have a lovely day.

  • @cottageorgan No one is wetting any one's knickers. Yet...that sounds very much like an insult to me. Which makes you a....wait for it.... a hypocrite

  • @vaperjeff Oh please....enough, I haven't the energy. By the way, John Lennon played the lead guitar on Revolution, and you're right, they weren't playing live, however, they were singing live over the backing tape of the original recording, so we'll call it a draw and everyone walks away happy...phew!

  • @vaperjeff Oh yes, sorry i forgot, you were there in the studio at every session, yes you are actually George Martin in disguise...and Whatever you say yes, you are right, you are right, you are so right. There, happy? Have a lovely life and don't forget to enjoy the music....Amen.

  • @vaperjeff Dude, cool your jets, seriously. Go listen to "Within You, Without You," and maybe you'll learn something...

  • @vaperjeff Dude, what the fuck is your problem? If you actually enjoyed any of the Beatles' music or had any of their wisdom imparted on you, you wouldn't waste your time trying to insult people on a youtube comments page about whether or not the recording was "fully live" or "partly live" or a complete studio recording. True fans don't give a shit, and you obviously aren't one. Do the world a favor and fucking kill yourself, because you're obviously what's wrong with the world today.

  • @rlpoloplaya67 What the fuck is YOUR problem. I've been listening to the Beatles since the age of 3. I'm a HUGE fan. I'm just stating the facts. This is not live. True fans DO give a shit. Kill myself? How about you come pay me a visit in person and we'll see about that.

  • @vaperjeff If you were such a huge fan and "stating the facts" you wouldn't be saying shit like "Fuck off, you self-righteous, holier than-thou twit" to other fans. Oh ya, so if I come pay you a visit in person, you'll kill yourself in front of me? Rofl nice. Such an internet pussy, tryin to talk shit knowing that you'll never have to back it up. If you live in WA state i'll come beat the shit out of you on your front porch in front of your wife and kids, though. Give me your address.

  • @rlpoloplaya67 Hilarious! Dude...you need to re-fucking-lax. You're gonna have a heart attack.

Look. I came on here just stating the facts and a bunch of losers got all over my shit about it. That's all.

    Settle down there, Biff.

  • @vaperjeff it took me a almost an entire day to comment back last time. You commented back in 4 minutes. How can you call anyone else a loser when you're on youtube 24/7 arguing with people about frivolous shit? Stating facts is one thing, but being a dick about it is unnecessary. You should take the advice you gave to that troll a while back: "Get a life, son. Get a life." BTW, don't say "come pay me a visit in person and we'll see about that" if you don't actually want me to do it.

  • @rlpoloplaya67 Dimwit....I am at work. Work is slow over the holidays. I have my email open. My email messages me when i have email. I get email when you respond to my comments. It's really not any more convoluted than that..

You're the one being a dick.

If you want to come pay me a visit in person, that's your choice bro.

Let me know when you grow some balls and make it out to NYC.

    Until then....just go away, kid.

  • @vaperjeff Lol. You're special, dude. And I like how you just so happen to live about as far away from me in the contiguous US as possible. That's just adorable. Get back to work and actually earn your money.

  • @rlpoloplaya67 Yeah, that's right, "genius". I anticipated this asinine conversation 45 years ago and made sure I was born in NYC just to make sure you couldn't come after me. LMFAO. And you call ME "special". Too funny.

  • Lennon is more relevant now than he was in the sixties and seventies.

  • The Beatles Rock !!

  • Are you self-righteous folk even LISTENING to the lyrics? Anti-communist, anti-destruction, start with changing your own head. And as for apathy, moaning, money grubbing, ingratitude: which of us left or right isn't guilty of those ourselves? Did you know some girl had her $5,500 laptop stolen at one of the Occupier sites? Yet she counts herself as an oppressed victim of the evil businessmen, you know, the kinds who produce all the tech toys the occupiers own? Steve Jobs, e.g.?

  • @PANSEGRO Your "OMG a 5,000$ laptop stolen" argument is pretty dumb. I´ts not like it doesn´t matter but there are millions of thieves outthere, and if those are ocuppiers or whatever nowadays if you don´t watch ur shit you get stolen, here, there and everywere. The world is chaos it sucks. There r millions of other persons wich are affected by poverty, child work, human trafficking etc.. wich are worthy of being called "opressed victims". Give better examples cuz that one is SO SUPERFICIAL.

  • @Rejito Superficial. "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." The point was, she OWNS a $5,500 laptop and is whining about being oppressed by the evil rich. I was NOT saying SHE was a victim, but that SHE thinks she's a victim. I was not picking on the Occupiers, either. I know there is a criminal element infiltrating the encampments. Read more closely, Little King.
