I play it on the tenor sax and I think the part is really easy.... what instrument are you playing it for? the trumpet piece is pretty tough... I try to play it occasionally on my tenor because its in the same key...

the trumpet part isnt that hard. it is a little challenging if you play up an octave. but otherwise this peice is easy on just about any instrument.

anyway.... form what I've seen from the alto piece you just need to practice the counting otherwise its not too difficult... How long have you been playing the alto?

I don't know about your arrangement but in ours the alto part was simple, rest two then you go C to B in quarter notes. It's quite simple actually. But you have to feel the rhythm or than anything.
