but i think it's a shame that black models, that get picked mostly look as 'white girls with black skin' if u see what i mean. (ok, maybe, with a bit bigger lips as well but that all)

all girls, apart from number 2, look like they are mix race.

they should pick more models with really dark skin, huge lips and flatter wide nose.

because who says that isn't beautiful!!?? i think girls with these features get overlooked!

We need to promote Black models who look completely differently from "Eurocentric looks". Girls like Ajak Deng (From Sudan) this will help break the mental stereotype that Americans have about defining beauty.

Joan Smalls is the biggest black model in the world right now followed by Jourdan Dunn, Chanal Iman,Arlenis Sosa, 16 yr old Nyasha Matonhodze,Ajak Deng,Anais Mali.....Sessilee Lopez seems to be in decline as of late hope she can regain..such a great face she should be bigger ....Ataui Deng, Jasmine Tookes,Melanine Monrose are coming up the ranks hard...Sadly these girl have a long way to go in the industry to achieve Alek Wek status we wont even mention Naomi,Tyra or Veronica status ..

Joan Smalls should be in a better position, like almost second, she's a great established model and have done lot of runways, ads and now comercials(Estee Lauder) for diferent brands of high couture. I think that what she needs is a Vogue cover and her career will be Excelent ;)
