@lunarfoxie You know what a REALLY hurt baby sounds like because you babysit a 1 year old? That's terrible! Also, even at a young age, verbal communication is key for the further development of a child. Even if they don't know how to speak, communicating is much more important than anything. Some babies can get knocked on the head and not make much sound at all. It's up to the parent to understand their child and how they react to pain/pleasure/etc.. Great video, though! I enjoyed it :)

If you pay attention to the sound in the video, you hear two things hitting. The first was his body, the second loud sound was his head.

My parents didn't baby me by any means... however when I fell and got hurt they wouldn't say "Yay!" and keep the camera rolling. I do agree that you can't freak out when a child falls or they will freak out too, but to keep recording when you witness your child fall is shameful.
