Is it just me or is she just really overplaying the "I'm in love" and "he's just so amazing" and "it was just so cute the way he acted on oprah" thing. 6 weeks and talking "in love" and "marriage" WHAT??? Such a confusing, whirlwind for this poor girl.

Seriously, i know back in the days TomKat was the big story, but she basically said NOTHING about the movie, just giggling and moving around.
I'm neither a fan or a hater of TomKat but when a celebrity makes an appeareance in such a late night show, the person is supposed to promote the movie a little before getting on the personal matter...

Being in love with a scientologist, yes I suppose that would change a person.
But being in love with the most famous and rich scientologist in the world, what does that do to you? Well, on evidence of this interview, it makes you look like you´ve just stepped out of a sanitarium in a horror film.
Now, I try never to judge a person by their appearance, only their behaviour.

She's a young woman in love, not messed up. And though Tom is a nutcase he is a charismatic nutcase, as well as a hyperstar, so it's not so hard to see why she's into that. And boy am I jealous of that UFO-flying twat of whom she speaks with a sparkle in her eye.

By the way, the official version is that she declined to do The Dark Knight to do the putrid "Mad Money" instead, a horrible flop, both critically and commercially. In reality, she was fired but allowed to save face and say she declined. With Dark Knight now getting rave reviews as a masterpiece, she would have been kicking herself for making that other piece of trash movie if she HAD left willingly, anyway.

Rumor has it that she was not invited back for Dark Knight partly because she was consistently singled out as the only major sour note in that film, but partly also because this interview really pissed the producers off. She was there to heavily promote the Batman movie and when Letterman gave her an opening, she raved about Tom's War of the Worlds instead...then committed the ultimate faux pas by recommending viewers to watch Tom's movie over Batman Begins. Tsk, tsk, extremely unprofessional.
