a few problems, the 6 didn't start right and to what speed are they racing to? about 115 mph they would be neck and neck then the 1000 would kick ass from there on.

Hayabusa is worthless unless the road is in a perfectly straight line. 1000's are similar to 600's all across the board, ratio-wise. So let's not say things like "space shuttle against unicycle," because it sounds quite ignorant, and this video was shot because it happened, there's no vendetta against any bracket of bike. One more thing, I've raced hayabusa's and have won 50/50, with my mods, drag racing. So ya, r1 vs hayabusa, I'll look better crossing the finish line too.

Though theoretically, the busa is able to accelerate quicker, and its top is quite a bit higher (the early models).

Longer wheelbase = less tendency to wheelie = more acceleration off the line.

Ofcourse it's able to beat a busa with an r1, but with equal drivers, the r1 loses.
