Great performance! Inspired to put on my baseball cap (no cowboy hat available) and jumped on a broom (my wife told me I could play with it but not to break it) and made a few turns around my living room. This is one of the better orchestral recordings on youtube.
A great rendition of "Magnificent Seven" will instantly compel you to put on spurs, a gunbelt with 1 or 2 revolvers, a badass hat, & to saddle your horse & hit the trail with 6 of your deadliest friends to rid the world of evil as we know it.
While this rendition is really good given the size of the group, my spurs ain't jingling & jangling listening to this. It's closer to making you want to hit the local forest trail with your cell phone on your belt with 6 of your friends on a short hike.
Bravo Bartlett Community Band players! Good job, guys....and piss on the punks and other know-nothings who have written snide put-downs. Of course, professionals--like the ones who performed the actual sound track--play it better, but the BBCB plays it plenty well enough to delight their audiences. They're are a darn good community band. Bless 'em all.
Ordinary people playing out one of the great western scoresa ever written, I know for a fact that this is no easy piece to replicate so I think this is a very fine effort.. Well done to ALL !!!!!!!!!

I'm playing this in band, 8th grade. We're prolly just as good, if not even better, than these guys. (: I play bells, klaves, and xylophone.

the flutes at the beginning were bad, but the rest is ok ;)

good rendition but it sure makes you appreciate just how good those musicians were who performed on the original sound track.
