@controlsdelete o! and im purchasing through the collage discount, and so the package includes the adobe package, and i will be just over joyed to see the new adobe photoshop CS5...i think editing a photo will be just about the easiest thing to do, for everyone i mean, it wont be something amazing anymore, anyone will be able to do it. but at the same time, it gives allot more features and the ability to paint, as if it were real. on the mac, the experience will be so much more enjoyable! XD

For Antivirus for any mac just download iAntivirus or buy Sophos antivirus for Mac. iAntivirus seems to work fine for me.

the i3 is a dual core not a quad, but it does have quad core similarities like hyper threading, and maybe the higher end 15 inch and 17 inch macbook pros will get the i5 and maybe the i7 (though not likely) and the base 15 and 13 inch macbook pros could get the i3, and maybe the macbook air as well

I love this MBP. Bought one about a month ago and have never regretted it. As far as gaming goes, they are a bit behind with games but any of the bigger titles are almost immediately sold for Mac as well. LED backlighting is amazing; crystal clear. Also, rumors of a BR player for these are spurting around, claiming as early as a late 2010 release. All will see by then. In the meantime, go get yourself one of these!

That depends on your budget and how light you want your notebook to be and what you're gonna use the computer for. For basic use like email, web browsing, adding music and videos, go for the 13 inch and for more professional use like video editting, photoshop, and other heavy programs go for the 15 inch. You can still use the 13 inch for professional use but you have to configure it before you purchase it.

dude i had a friend that had the mid line macbook air and the specks were 1.8 Ghz and 1 gig 517 mhz ram.. and i have a macbook white 4 gig ram. 2.4 ghz.. we ran x plane 9. its a heavy application/game, it ran smoothly on my mac and his macbook air. just lagged from time to time. unless your going to be a really heavy and a gamer, then get the 4 gig, but i highly doubt it. you can always upgrade it so dont worry! :) the 4 gig ram is only 70 bucks!
