The programming to make the robot walk like this shouldnt be too hard to make. But designing the robot to be capable of doing it might be challenging if you're new to this stuff.

So long since I played with this lol =) I was part of a team taking first place in the norwegian regional finals in the "first lego league" tournament.

unlike the RCX the Scout only has two motor connectors and two sensor connectors that only support touch sensors but it has a built in light sensor, and you can't hook this one up to a computer to program it but you can give it some simple commands using the buttons on the top of it, I also have the RCX and would have used that one because it can do so much more but the firmware got erased from it when I was changing the battery's and I have not gotten around to reloading it so I used this one.
