Graham McMahon gave me a copy of this lovely record in the late 90s. I never asked him about the vocal sample - just figured he'd probably used a vocalist to sing it and then pitch-shifted it in the sampler.
This evening, a friend played me "Touched" by V.A.S.T. and I was surprised to learn it had the same sample, but not obviously pitch-shifted.
The vocal comes from a Bulgarian vocal choir off a cd called "Les Mysterie des voix Bulgares vol 3"....I always wondered where the sample came from and then one day someone by accident left the cd round my house and I found it on there. Very odd. The track is No 4 called "Ghel Moma".....what are the odds of that?

Anyone know where the sample came from?
