It was a tragic accident But the one at fault is suffered the consequences of "surviving" the accident ...EG: a lifetime of guilt (and thats a bigger sentence than any the system could ever hope to impose on her )
I have been mad at my best friend of almost two weeks because of a little white lie I found out she told me. Well this video just change the whole concept of getting mad for me..!
Thanks, all, for your comments. "MoreThanJustSkinDeep"... If you read our book, The Road to Forgiveness, you will see that Verma does admit what she did, as did she when the Wyoming Dep't of Transportation did a documentary on her actions in their "Don't Drink and Drive". This doc was distributed throughout Wyoming high schools for Driver's Education classes. Peace, Cindy
WHAT AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF *LOVE & FORGIVENESS & STRENGTH* THIS WOMAN HAS ! ! ! TO LOOSE HER LOVING MOTHER & CHILD TO A DRUNKEN-DRIVER, IS BEYOND. . . . . . MY ABILITY OF ACCEPTANCE & TO GO ON WITH LIFE. + G O D IS TRULY TRULY AMAZING +
The drunk driver never admits that she was drunk during the actual ride. She keeps saying she was "hung over" or tired or sick... but she never admits she was driving drunk
@MoreThanJustSkinDeep I get what you are saying but being in her shoes could not be easy. She clearly regrets it greatly. I don't think she meant for it to happen.

04.37 Oprah "Why wern't you in jail?" You can tell she deserved to be in jail even while she was awaiting sentencing.
