Sean Connery and Brosnan were both much better than Craig. Craig has practically no inflection in anything he says. To be the star of an action movie you need to be able to enhance the small amount of humor in them in such a way that it doesn't try to turn the action movie in to a comedy, but does break up the action scenes well.

I hate it when people say QOS is rubbish because it's different from the earlier movies, why should that be a problem? It's refreshing to see different styles, otherwise it would just get boring being the same all the time. QOS was a good film in my opinion, not as good as Casino Royale (brilliant film), but one with plenty to please. Don't listen to the purists, the car and plane chases were fantastic!

A opinion from me is that Craig can eventually become a better Bond than Connery, but it will take a lot, and absolutely he would have to do a lot more Bond movies. The thing with Connery and why "most" people associate him with the longlasting Bond, is that he made more Bond movies than anyone else. Quantum was okay, but it lacked the drama of Casino. With Casino, one of Fleming's better novels, everything builds up to the torture scene and then away from it, so the structure is very solid. With Quantum there was no central scene--like no center to the film--it was made up of bits and pieces, a lot of nicely shot scenes, but they seemed spliced together. I would have a hard time saying what my favorite scene was because none of them were very memorable.

On its own terms its a good movie, but after Casino Royale there was such higher expectations. This just didnt feel like a Bond movie to me. How can you have a Bond movie with no Bond theme for a start? Hugh error, Also, whats with the inconsistant continuity? in the last movie it ended with Bond wearing 3 piece suit, In this (set 20 minutes later) he's wearing an entirely different outfit? did he have time to stop off and change during the opening chase scene?
