  • OOHH-Lou Gramm is SO HOT and Sexy!! WOW!! LOUvin' me some LOU!!

  • @Miss00lzzy00 Thank you for recognizing the talent of Bruce Turgon, I wholeheartedly Agree!!

  • CRANK IT UP !!!!

  • my idol favorit for forever

  • I WANT YOU! LOU GRAMM!

  • Lou is the best. Ihave no "clever" saying for the board. Can ANYONE dispute his vocal power and style? I think not... unless you like auto-tuned dime-a-dozen crap that dulls the senses of our youth...

  • Kick-- Ass!!! RC

  • Great band from the 90's. This was my fav song. Mindset for chasing girls! Lol!

  • viv and lou what a combo!!!!!!

  • amazing this sounds great today!!!!! i mean today!!!

  • @mallison78 No one, I mean no one sings like this today.

  • Bruce Turgon is a creative genius. I adore anything he worked on from Black Sheep to his solo album. I dont think he gets enough credit for his musical contributions.

  • Damned!!!!! I WANT HIM !!! I just wanna Lou.

  • @184lisa Can I have Bruce? He is the bass player and co-writer of this song!

  • I bought this record in the early 90s on vinyl, one of the best records ever. I still play it regulary and a always get the same feeling simply pure magic. Lou Gramm has never been better.

  • I remember buying this when it first came out back in 91' and poppin it in my player and crankin it. This is a very good album. Too bad they didn't do more together. Vivian Campbell is one of the best guitarists to come out of the eighties, the guy can flat out shred. Too bad he's spinnin his wheels with The Lep these days. Steady paycheck but no challenges.

  • you can jusy feel Vivian's presence...

    (and hear it too lol)

    absolutely spectacular.

  • viv kix ass.

  • pedazo d genialidad!!

  • I personally believe this is how he wanted Foreigner to sound as a band but it was really Mick's band.. One of the sexiest songs I've ever heard.

  • Great killer song! I find it hard to believe that this is the same guy who sang "I Want to Know What Love Is" and "Waiting For a Girl Like You".

  • @Doobie1975 He's an incredible vocalist. An idol of mine. Go to his "black sheep" days. type in "Black Sheep - Let me stay."

  • @VIDEOHEREBOB Hey man, thanks a million for introducing me to Black Sheep, their music is absolutely killer and they rock, I personally thought Black Sheep is a much better band than Foreigner ever was, Foreigner would've been a really great band if their music wasn't so mainstream

  • @Doobie1975 You're very welcome. That's what i love about Y.T. You get to hear all of this great singing other than what these guys are known for. Here's another 2 for ya..."Lou Gramm - Black Dog" and "Lou Gramm - Chains." Enjoy!!!

  • Thx for posting Shadow King music .. i recall searching high and low for their album and eventually end up only got a used cd .. But that's so precious.

Lou Gramm's been the great vocal. And Viv has been definitely the great guitar master.

Blessed to still hear Viv's guitar riff, with his existence in Def Leppard.

  • that girl is gorgeous :O

  • feargal75 I totally agree.

  • Shadow King ... well ... ESSENTIALLY THE SO POWERFUL AND MAGIC VOICE OF LOU GRAMM - can understand why he is considered as one of the best voices for the last 30 years - GREAT LOU GRAMM !!

  • I was there when this happened and it was cool.,Richard Simons owned the building.....I was ontop of the world at the time of this song.

  • If you listen to Counting Every Minute (off Foreigner's Inside Information) you will find quite a similarity in lyrics and melody to this song.

  • What a smokin' hot song! Love it. Raw rock and roll with a little soul thrown in. Lou Gramm is the man. What a talent! :)

  • ...pretty good song Mrs. Waite....my all time fav from this dude is Rev On The Red Line...but this is actually pretty good....imho...lol

  • I COULDN'T OF SAID IT BETTER !

"smokin' hot song! . Raw rock and roll with a little soul thrown in. Lou Gramm is the man.

    DAMN HE'S AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow! this is awesome!

  • excellent line up not my fav but very very good line up

  • amazing song and one of the best Vivian Campbell solos..so emotional!!!!

  • great band, great album...

  • SEXY!!!!!!

  • 10/10

  • I think this project fell to the way side and didn't get the promotion and marketing it needed. That is paid for by the recording company. Maybe that is why they disbanded. I know Bruce Turgon stated on his website he had written songs for a second Shadow King album still in his possession.

  • I dont think VC was really into this group. I read an interview with him where he was quite dismisive of it. He only did the lead gtr parts and was a bit miffed that Lou had sold him on doing a modern Free type band with all the members involved in the writing but instead just used songs Lou'd written with Turgon. If you read the album liner notes you'll see Turgon's credited with rytham guitar as well as bass.

Ironically this album has my fav VC playing on

  • Thanks ak301. I read the same thing on VC's website. VC stated that he loves R&B guitar. I am glad that we are able to have this exposure to these great musicians.

  • with Foreigner, with Shadow King, with "himself" LOU GRAMM's voice is always GENIUS

  • the did a song called "ONE DREAM"

    for Highlander II.

  • they*

  • A lot better with Vivian Campbell. Why didn't this get popular? I'm tired of the same ten songs on the radio. (Loudmouth)

    Need more...

  • you can also download this album on mp3fiesta

  • yeah Shadow King is the king

  • I just bought this CD and the date on it is 1991.

  • wow, how very lucky of you to have found it:-)

  • @54gravi It was actually released in 1992

  • Why don't I remember this song? This is good stuff. Blues-tinged, raw rock and roll. Lou is at his prime here. Thanks for sharing this video with us.

  • It's a pleasure. This album is what I've always dreamt Lou would do. I'm only glad that I've discovered it:-)

  • vivian campbells solo was smokin.

  • agree wich makes me wonder : why won't he write this kind of music with def leppard =???

  • I hate that jacket!

  • Lou should have ripped off his jacket at the end of the video! This is smokin' HOT!!

  • Awesome!! Was Lou the sexiest man ever or what!

  • great - but not 80 classics. 90 is right

  • This whole album is awesome! Highly recommended to anyone who likes rock and roll. Lou Gramm rocks the house on this album!

  • awesome song!!!!

  • agree with squyres***** GREAT

  • What a voice !! Love ya, Lou !!! He is still rockin --saw him a few months ago!! Nice guy too--he wrote me on Myspace !! This is great !!

  • Classic 80's rock with one of the greats--Lou Gramm!!

  • lol! i never know the word "ShadowKing" is a rock band! i used that username before! but now i used the username "shadowgon"

  • Awesome. Such a shame it was a one-off project... Those guys should have kicked ass for some time.

  • Fuckin geeeeeeeezzzz!!!!!!!! Shadow King! Those guys really rocked!!!! Why only 1 album? Why all the good bands are slowed down?

  • Awesome!!

    Thats true rock my friends!!

Not the shit we have to handle on the radio today!!

    Rock on!

  • That's Vivian Campbell, yeah?

  • Viv, in all his splendour:-)

  • @foreverfree YEAH!!

  • ohh men these guys have to save what is going nowdays in music ,classic rock , the true rock!!!! Lou forever !!!

  • AWESOME!

  • this is an excellent example of how good

    classic rock/metal used to be...

  • Just Great!!!!!!!!!

  • I have this cd and really would love to see videos of "What would it take" & "Anytime, Anywhere"! If you like Vivian Campell's playin' check out the Riverdogs w/Rob Lamothe on vocals..another awesome band!!!

  • Great band, I love the album. Wish they'd stayed together longer.

  • Another outstanding rock vocal performance. a mix of soul and balls-to-the-wall rock.

  • Great single. Who is the woman?

  • It's too bad this band never really toured or did anything else.

  • It's too bad this was their only single from an album packed with major hits!!!

  • I heard there were some "ego" problems. I'd like to really hear how Lou sounds now. I haven't had a good reports lately. This was a good band for a 3-piece with a "Great" singer.

  • I understand that Lou has stepped back from the limelight for a while...and Foreigner is touring with Kelly Hansen of Hurricane fame (great voice, as well. However, the man has definitely marked his spot in rock'n'roll history...
