I'll agree with the reliability problems. I JUST test drove a 2010 2.0T model last week. I thought the car was beautiful--I was sold on it. Then I got in it to drive it.. Dealer tried 3 times to start it for me, and it kept stalling. Finally started, I drove it, and there was literally NO power from a standstill--the car had to have momentum before the turbo kicked in and THEN there was power. But I knew something was wrong as soon as I hit the gas and went virtually nowhere. No thanks!
@E60BMWM5 Sorry mate but you are wrong, the new shape Passat has had big problems with reliability, I know two people who have had new shape Passats and had problems, one of them my step-father who had problems with parking brake sticking on, the turbo going and needing a new gear box, all those on a low miles, one year old car.
@MrJohncrossi oh well gee, if 2/200,000 cars sold last year have it, then it must mean every car has problems with reliability...what a bunch of disjoint trash!
LOL this is almost fun to read the comments. Those europeans simply can't take criticism at all. Guess what guys the world is not about europe. Seriously what is europe anyway? there is no such a continent geographically, what is it other than a piece of land in which a bunch of self absrobed people calling themselves the best examples of humanity.
this guy is an idiot. i also have a cc with that type of key ( called kessly or something like this) , but if he doesn't know how to start the engine with just 1 press of button doesn't mean that this function is useless . man it's called EVOLUTION....rubish
@Fussinated no but come on these is suppose to be a professional company go out and buy some slacks a nice shirt and a tie...not that hard...gotta make urself look professional at least. i did not say anything about how he talks just get some decent looking clothes.
Well, the combination of 2+2 seating versus room for five, blacked out B-pillars, and a roofline silhouette that is 2.0 inches lower than the regular Passat is a start.
The Passat sedan has a trunk volume of 565 liters, the CC version only 33 liters less and beats its class-competitors Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class and BMW 3series by roughly 50 liters. So get yourself informed before you post shit.
excuse me consumerreports, why can i watch a bigger video size in youtube and not in the website? i pay big bucks to access your website yet the video is offered in only one size - tiny.

Wow, glad you guys are such hard-core motoring enthusiasts that your main focus is on men's fashion instead of the car that's being reviewed...

If it's a 4 door, shouldn't it be a saloon or sedan? Why call it a coupe?
