Too bad people heard his version before SNSD's official version. Why release this version anyway? Which makes no sense to me. Now people are just comparing the two of which one is better than the other. Of course his version will sound better because he's Japanese and their producer, he knows what he wants it to sound like. I still like SNSD's version more because of the girls' voices and hopefully they will sing it live one day to compare to this.

SNSD sang it up a semitone, but even so, it's still too low, but they did a nice harmony, the versions sound very different, his version sounds like a regular R&B male singer singing it, and SNSD sounds like a quiet sad choir of girls, their version seems just kind of easy-going, but his feels more desperate and emotional, they r different versions indeed

SNSD version is not even close of this one. This guy sings perfectly and can do high notes very easily. Also, I think this song is too emotional to be sang by a group - just a single voice does the work very well, specially an amazing voice like Hiro's.

The girls' Japanese is pretty distinct, and I thought that was a bad thing until I heard Hiro singing the same way. So it's all good :) Hopefully JeTi get most of the English parts, Taeyeon and Seohyun get most of the high notes, and the rest of the parts are distributed evenly among the members.
