A 90% faithful adaption of my all time fave King story...well worth watching. Marcia Gay Harden was too young to play Mrs Carmody, but f*** it, she still won me over in the role...my only real complaint w/ the film was the ending...I know Darabont changed it so the audience would feel they got a 'resolved' ending, but I genuinely think the ORIGINAL, ambiguous book ending was FAR superior and memorable...if you agree, do a GOOGLE search for 'The Mist: The Novella Cut'...

With that shred of hope, they drive on into an unknown future. I think the ending of the movie was good, as it was pretty shocking. Stephen King himself liked it. -Dont kill yourself, EVER. Fight till the end or try to think of the best hiding spot

-Kill the b***h if she starts talking about "sacrificing ANYONE to save everyone else" as soon as possible

-Stop making wrong decisions, unforetunately horror movies are based on a long list of wrong decisions otherwise they just dont work

-Dont risk many other ppls lives to save one thats already dying.
