@TheGusworkman Getting a lot of copys sold doesnt make it a good game experience IE mw3. sure its a fun arcade like game but there is almost no strat. Its mostly camp or run and gun. The only console that might make it work is the ps3 but they tried that with MAG and it isnt that fun of a game. Remember this is a military simulator. Plus arma 2 is a lot of fun even if you dont play it. Its fun to watch the chit chat and its very different then most other games ive seen.

@cortiliary covering multiple angles can be more efficient, but you can't heal your downed teammates either if they're 1 click away on another hill and they'll bleed to their death before you can get there if they get shot... The AI in this game are sometimes too smart to outsmart. But it would be indeed better idea to split into groups of 3 or 2 and cover multiple angles... :)

@Norman631 I think there are ballistics but this game is probably so realistic that it does exactly that what you can do with a specific weapon. So the McMillan TAC-50 has an max. effective range of 2190 yds. So at 1200 yds you can MAYBE aim straight forward.

I once tried to play Arma2 on my friend's computer. The learning curve was so ridiculous that I just got exasperated and left. Now I kind of regret that. It looks pretty fun once you get past all the weird controls and everything.

Ok if you look at the video tital, you see the name. Its ArmA2. Its not a "snipergame", it's a MilSim, a modded version of the game called VBS2 is used by US Army, Marines, ADF, PDF and a few other armies for training. Not only does this game have sniping at like 1km+.

But, Tanks, Jets, Helis, awesome Intanfry combat, boats and so on. It's a milsim like I stated, the maps are big like 10km2 plus. Awesome team game, if you get the PR mod you will have an awesome PvP experance.

@thejustcauser He is adjusting his sights you shouldn't notice the bullet drop if everything is adjusted right. Plus if he is using a .50 they have a effective range of 1500ft I hear.

Enemies run forward, jumps back 5 meters, and pops up 15 meters in front of their last position. its pointless...

Oh, and if you have a silencer in the night, and shoot once, they will all notice your position. Cant do some fancy night time ops :(
