I didn't recognise him when he later (without the wig) did a set on tiny chill stage.
This set was more conservative and not very live (the odd drum-roll/stutter/FX tweak every 16 bars). I was stage-managing but wasn't impressed enough to find out who he was even though his earlier gig (day before) was impressive conceptually.
Could tell he put a lot of effort into composing but pressing play is not my idea of a performance. I realise most people don't care so why bother eh?
Heard him playing this stuff to a crowd of thousands at Rainbow Serpent Festival. In fact even more odd than in this video. The audience didn't seem to mind although I am sure most of them were not used to these sounds. Bravo for pushing this traditionally trance festival to the limit !
Had long black hair (wig) and interspersed some funny Aussie "bogan" (kindof redneck) commentary.
haha, göttlich^^

most dj's only press play though, he's still doing more than the majority.
spoonbill is amazing! i love his chill side, i.e. this kind of stuff along with his other more upbeat big sets.
His market stage set at rainbow was great fun... have you ever, truely, looked an egg in the eye?
