  • what makes this a pro over a normal practical plus?

  • Is this a good sword?

  • In my honest opinion this is one of the best entry level swords available. In fact my wife got me one for our wedding anniversary five years ago, and I still us it at least twice a week for Iaijutsu as well as the occasional bit of tameshigiri. However if you are an inexperienced Cutter, the raptor series would be a better starting point, as the laminated monosteel and is far less likely to break with an incorrect cut.

  • Thank you for the reply. I agree, I will start with the Raptor series since I'm an inexperienced cutter.

  • @TheMasterSlasher Way how i see it is that if a sword is constructed properly, then yes its duribility is good. But its not a question of "is the sword good" its more of how good are YOU with a sword.

    but thats my opinion

  • @SasukeX53 Ah, I remember back in the day when I was obsessed with katanas. Thanks for reminding me.

  • @TheMasterSlasher No problem, im a big fan of Katanas myself, but im also looking up other types of swords as well. but my most favorite will always be the katana :3
