Actually D-day is called so as D-day simply means the day of an operation. The same goes for H-hour. D-day had simply been named so as it was the largest landing operation and had been called so. I have never heard of anything being called an A-day or C-day. B-day perhaps for birthday, but none of the three letters you stated, that I know of, was used as a term for military operations.
