Actually it was just something silly. Our son wouldn't eat dinner that night. I started asking the dog to do some tricks after dinner and DS joined in. Giving "treats" was actually a backhanded way of feeding him dinner. I was exhausted and just didn't want to deal with a hungry tired child 3 hours later! Just for the record that was the only time he was ever fed dinner in that manner!
