boys the lowest spec road caterham has over 200hp/t...and believe,theres not much to remove or improve . . to make an R400.dble the power..respect to ANY roadcar that can play with a caterham at all..............i weld almost all these chassis(not the csr`s) and adore/abore them all at the same time...but ide rather have the satisfaction of a tintop that can play ;)...but its hard graft and cold cash achieving it,lol
wow! having driven brands a few times - 90 on turn in to paddock is insane :D Quite a scary corner on turn in. I used to come out at about 85 i think so turn in bout 70. Really impressed that seat could do that. I need some slicks and some bigger balls :D
you have NO idea of how fast a caterham 7 or a westfield is! it's probably the best track-car you can have for your money... and for sure faster than a race-leon! guess what happens if they were both on the way with the same tires...
Amazing how a front wheel drive street-based car could give a Caterham such a good challenge. I bet the Caterham would keep the pace over more laps as the front wheels overheat on the Seat.
It may be a street based car but ill bet you that most of the important components are not what you would find on a street car, just like a Rally car only shares the same shell as a street car version.
