I love the 7.3 but the 6.4 with just a DPF delete and chip will eat just about any truck on the road.

@pitfool03, the 7.3 kicks ass, but if that 6.4 was tuened with a 310 hp chip or more it would be putting out alot of smoke and be running a lot faster times than the one in this video. but once again the 7.3 is one of my favorite motors, if there was one motor i had to rely on with my life it would be the 7.3

@123abcpa The &.3 is AWESOME! My 95 2 wheel drive with just a straight pipe and a 100 hp edge beat my dads 6.4 stock. but and do i mean but he got the edge racing chip and did the DPF and lets just say my heads not as high as it was the first time we raced haha

It hasn't gone 10's yet. However I've added 3 stages of nitrous, larger injectors, a larger turbo and a wastegate since it ran 11.60's...

@flguy1215 That's funny because I know of a 7.3 in the tens. I also know a very good friend of mine will be there as soon as he makes it to a 1/4 mile track. He's ran 6.8's in the 1/8th mile so far ;).

My brother has a 6.4 stock and it gets around 13 or 14 or so he says for mileage. I have an '03 7.3 with the chip set to economy and I get 20+ highway mileage. However I still think the 6.4 is an improvement over the 6.0 (which I think is damn near the worst engine of all time, it damn near made me a Dodge guy). Of course I'd rather ride a bike than drive a Chevy.

The truck runs low 12's, fuel only, at almost 8,000lbs now. Thanks, but I also have a Cummins that I'm sure is faster then anything you own.

Yeah, the mph was decent but the et was way off. The 60' was horrible... like 2.2 or something cause the tranny basically went into limp mode. (flashing O/D light).
