  • "Ahmadiyya Muslim" = oxymoron

  • Yeah, "why Islam." Mustlims for Peace = Convert to Islam.

  • @NoGuff Islam is a lifestyle choice. If somebody adopts Islam as their way of life then what is wrong about it?

  • @IslamAhmadiya

Nothing's wrong with their choice. Until they choose to force the rest of us to convert or die, or choose to set off bombs in public places, etc.

  • @NoGuff Well if somebody holds such beliefs, he does it something that is completely against the teachings of Quran. Somebody who exploits religion for personal or political gains does it for themselves, not for any other reason. Worst kinds of attrocities were committed in the name of Christianity (Spanish Crusades), even today we see extremist Christian American organisations. Infact extremists belong to every nation and reliion. Then there are right wing racists/nationalists. Its not majority

  • @IslamAhmadiya : There were no spanish crusades unless you mean the so called reconquista, which was a legitimate throwing out of the invader. The 'real' western crusades you are referring to are those that started around 1099 - and that was a reaction to centuries of muslim aggression. Stick to the facts, when it comes to history. Helas, you are hostage to your loyalty to the ummah - otherwise you would explain what makes Ahmadiyya different from the rest of the 'ummah'.

  • @januk36 Well, I mean the Christian crusades that were fought against people of different faiths and backgournds and not just Muslims. The bloody crusades which were fought against pagans, Jews, slavs, balts, Mongols, cathars, hassites, waldensians, old purssians and political rivals of various popes. Then there is that history of women and men being killed mercilessly in witchcraft "trials"...

  • @IslamAhmadiya : Yes, you are right. A bloody history it is - but my experience so far is that few in the west deny the darker phases and events in their history, while the 'islamic world' seems to be in full denial of their own share of crimes. You will find if you dig - well, at least 'we' have to dig because 'your' history is not part of the regular curriculum at schools.

  • @januk36 Once again to us Quran remains the ultimate source of guidance. What individual political rulers (Muslims or non-Muslims) did was as I have said earlier too, their own personal actions. We represent Islam in its prestine form. We follow what Islam really came for i.e. Peace, tolerance, love for mankind, serving mankind, understanding, rationality and above all to connect the true relationship of man with the Almighty God. Ahmadiyya cmnty stands out as beacon of peace because it is Islam

  • @IslamAhmadiya : Anyway, you represent a relatively new strand within the islamic community. There is no reason for enmity between your community and the rest of the world, so why not advertise what the role of M. G. Ahmad is ? As I said before - you are being held hostage by fears of your own....

  • ...We certainly don't consider ourselves to be a "relatively new strand" within the Islamic community. We believe that we are the true Islam in its prestine purity. As far as the establishment of Ahmadiyya Muslim community by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) is concerned, that was prophecied by Holy Prophet Muhammad (sw) according to us. Holy Prophet had prophecised that Muslims were going to be divided into 73 sects just like Jews at the time of Jesus...

  • @IslamAhmadiya : Let's not split hairs over what is new (community) and what is pristine (teachings). Greetings.

  • @januk36 Well as I said earlier, we are relatively new (ie. more than 120 years old) but at the same time the oldest (thousands of years). We follow the religion that all prophets from Adam to Moses and to Moses to Jesus to Muhammad (peace be on them all) brought for the people who had lost the way. They all came to create the relationship of man with their Lord. Islam being the perfect religion (with its universal teachings) is the way we follow and preach and believe will bring peace to world!

  • ...He said that 72 sects of Muslims had to resemble with Jews of the time Jesus to the extent where two shoes of the same pair resemble with eachother. Only one sect/Jamaat (community with a leader) had to be on the right path according to the words of Holy Prophet. So when Muslims had to resemble with the Jews of the time of Jesus, the remedy had to be in likeness of Jesus. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) to us is the same Promised Messiah and Reformer that followers of all religions are waiting for.

"Worst kinds of attrocities .... Spanish Crusades"

--We're talking about today, not 1,000 years ago. You must admit the world is a little different today.

"even today we see extremist Christian American organisations"

    --No examples, huh?

"Then there are right wing racists/nationalists"

--Racists and nationalists are two different things.

    "Its not majority"

--True, but even when compared to equal number of Christians, there are more Muslims who demand we convert or die.

  • @NoGuff One such example of extremist Christain militant organisation in America:

    /watch?v=gM1RO1LdVho

Then there is that very recent history of IRA in Ireland. We don't need to go back 1000 years or so.

In some cases racists and nationalists might be two different things, but in most cases they are quite the same kind of people with similar demands. Well, two wrongs don't make a right. More or less, extremists come from every nation or background. Extremism is dangerous in any form.

  • @IslamAhmadiya

"One such example of extremist Christain militant organisation"

--1. That's such a bogus claim by the FBI that they almost got laughed out of court in the indictment hearing because they couldn't produce any evidence. 2. Burning the UN flag isn't a crime (yet). 3. Militias are not against the law (yet). 4. Please tell me how many Muslims they've killed so far.

"very recent history of IRA in Ireland"

--The "very recent history" is that they've laid down their arms. Just FYI.

  • @NoGuff IRA has laid down their arms or not is not the point here. They have been involved in terrible crimes against humanity. We also can't just trust them on their word. There might be some political interests in their decision right now, but who knows. So as I have said before, I continue to say this that those who commit attrocities against innocents in the name of religion do it for their own vested or political interests. The teachings of Quran do not approve of this behaviour at all...

  • @IslamAhmadiya

    "In some cases"

--Sometimes they go together, yes, but when talking about them in such terms you must recognize they are two different things. Its like saying Black people & drugs might be two different things "in some cases." No, they're two different things, even though some Black people use drugs.

"two wrongs don't make a right"

--Some would argue differently, including wht the 2nd wrong is.

"Extremism is dangerous in any form"

--You're just full of blanket statements.

  • ...Some black people do drugs but so do the whites, browns so on and so forth. This is exactly my point in case of extremists being in every society. What they do is their own action and they should be treated accordingly by the law of the land. I have no dispute on that fact. I am not here to defend or justify the actions of others, I can only talk about what me and the community that I belong to does and is famous for. This is a small example of Ahmadiyya youth UK: /watch?v=1AWDuWmvCDY

  • ...but they do exist everywhere. They have their own agendas. They exploit whatever is sensitive to the masses and then brainwash the innocents to commit attrocities of worst kinds. That is not Islam. You want to see what truly Islam is, then watch these non-Muslim dignitaries of the world (who know Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Organisation) about what Islam has done to their respective societies: /watch?v=lWVqtk_pkLI
