Johnny's brilliant! I'm not a music expert but I believe he's what you call a counter-tenor (someone who can sing an octave higher then a tenor) and male counter-tenors are difficult to come by so if used properly Johnny can be mind bogglingly awesome but making him sing girls song is kind of a cop-out. His rock performance is clear evidence of his potential. This was sung brilliantly though.

Considering he was used to be a drag queen, I'd say that the OTT and "panto" style acts is nothing new for him. Personally, I think he's brilliant to watch!
