In 2006 Ritsuko was a Fill in bass Player For Shonen Knife. Hatsue

and Tomoko filled in the summer of 2007 until she was hired full time

after her Denki candy Project had finished.

Love this live footage...with Etsuko's drums mixed nice and loud...Ritsuko as support bassist in her "Maririn" days, with the Denki Candy hairdo...and Naoko making her Marshall half-stack HOWL instead of the little Fender Twin she uses at club gigs. Glorious!

Shonen Knife has been a favorite of mine since 1992. I love this band and this new group playing with Naoka is intense. I mean look at that bassist and drummer. I think they are pretty girls, too. Especially that drummer. What a hottie! I read somewhere she's my around my age. So maybe one day... oh well, I can dream of having an hot awesome drummer Asian chic as a girlfriend can't I?
