I don't see what Bob Bradley sees in Robbie Findley, Sacha Kljestan, and Jonathan Bornstein. These 3 are terrible! Robbie findley is quick...but has no touch..no finishing and no composure. if davies was in his place in the world cup, i strongly believe that the US would have beaten Ghana. Bornstein was terrible in qualifying. He was the primary reason we fell behind so many times. i guess bradley feels he owes his old chivas players..

Actually soccer was the name introduced by the English. I suspect that you've also complained to the Canadians, the Irish, the New Zealanders, the Australians, the English upper class - their international footy mag is World Soccer- and the South Africans. Im from Chile but lived in the US for 16 years , and the Australian team looked slow . The US looked quite fast andplaying smart , which is really important in this sport . usa played well. findleys gotta finish. donovan has been somewhat silent recently but buddle has made up for it. also they cant give up those cheap goals like cahills because in the world cup, they are gonna be up against worldclass defenses so a goal could determine their fate. i wouldnt be surprised if gomez was a regular sub around the 70-80 minute mark cuz he has been showing his ability to finish. lets go usa

If Findley had put away a few sitters it could've easily been 5-1.. we need guys who can finish. Also the reason some people think the game was boring is because of the lack of fans. Sometimes in the heat of the moment you can't tell when the ball actually goes into the back of the net until you see/hear the fans sitting behind or near the goal screaming. Nothing to do with Martin Tyler, I think he's great. By the way FIFA should place a worldwide ban on those vuvuzelas.

He's getting slagged on the blogs I've seen but it should be remembered that the first goal was from Findley pressuring the defender into a mistake.

That near-miss by Dempsey (@2:00) was a shame - the whole play was a clinic in sharp passing.

@ashesofguilt what are you talking about? He missed too many chances that should have been clinical goals. He was great at getting behind the defense which is why he is on the team, but he is not executing when he needs to. I think we will see him more though. Hopefully it is just jitters that need to get worked out. England will not be so forgiving if he misses those chances.
