wait, so when getting a bone marrow transplant, the RECIEVER of the donor doesnt need the marrow to be actually transplanted into the inside of the bone like how its taken out?

The new stem cells engraft into the marrow cavities via the circulatory system. They go into the old spaces and begin to take over the old one.

My cousin had leukemia once, and after about 3 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, and the final thing, the bone marrow transplant, he was cured from cancer.
